Another Day in Paradise...

The day after my uneventful birthday; not saying it was bad, but we just flew on an airplane for 7 hours, landed, and then relaxed at the Marriott while I tried to do some homework. Not exactly what you call a vacation, i know, i know. But when you fall behind in school, life can be a royal pain in the A$$. However, on a brighter note, Hawaii's weather is B-E-A-U-TIFUL!! Sun is bright, with a good little breeze; a day extremely close to my perfect day. We even went shopping today, which as weird as it may be, i love. Guess i get that from my mommy and sisters. Got a sweet pair of McBeth's and Onitsuka Tiger's. :) YAY! Yet another pair to add to my collection. By the way, it is an actual collection. Some people collect coins, some like to use coins and find some bargins and get some great shoes. I would be one of those people, gratefully. We also stopped at Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch today. This place is great. You have a wonderful scene of the ocean in the background, some good music playing, and great food. (And for those interested, there are some pretty good looking waitresses, just a great sidenote). We have seen a lot of whales today too. Me and daddy teased mommy for a bit, because "she could sit and watch whales splashing around for hours." Which by the way is true, she does love to watch whales, and take some 200 pictures of them too. Well about half of them just end up being waves because she takes so many dang pictures. I love her for it though, because she does get some really good pictures. All this picture taking reminds me of Adrianne. I remember two years ago when the family was here, Adrianne, mommy, and I were taking pictures of the sunset. I of course got the best one! (above). But Adrianne was so funny, she tried to get the good picture with lots of waves, I'm thinking she was trying to accomplish the whole "The Little Mermaid" wave and sunset scene. Anyways, she just ended up saving the camera from lots of water, and...well, soaking up some good ocean water, haha. Still miss her more than ever. Anywho... Thats it for the blog today.

The Beginning of Something Different

Well well, the first post. Strange...never been the "blogger" type. But never say never. It has been a weird couple of weeks with my sister's passing, and my birthday only a week after. It is strange not seeing her, but our family is closer than we have ever been. Thank you everyone for praying for my family and helping us get through this hard time. Well i'm off to Hawaii for a week. Warm weather awaits us, and Adrianne was never one to tan :P I miss you Adrianne, and I Love You. My beautiful sister.
